THE WRITER'S ROOM

Measuring an impressive 15 1/2 x 30 feet, the Writer's Room is our largest guest suite.  Ten windows bathe the room in ample sunlight.  A king size brass bed divides the space into two different seating areas, one with a pair of William Morris patterned wing chairs and the other with a large down filled sofa and club chair. 

 

Guests staying in this room enjoy a number of special amenities.  Exclusive use of a furnished outdoor balcony is accessible by a private exterior door.  The bathroom features an enormous double shower and heated marble floor.  There is a tivoli radio and a 54 inch flat screen television. 

 

In keeping with the room's theme, a curated selection of fiction and non-fiction books are at one's disposal.  Ample reading material fills a  barrister bookcase and a 19th century revolving bookcase.  Additional antique furnishings include an Edwardian armoire, an 18th century cherry chest of drawers, an oak writing desk, and a fine Liberty and Co. Arts and Crafts hall stand.
